Let me start with what really stood out: Martina’s place is a short walk from the castle, the old town, and several great restaurants. It’s newly renovated, sparkling clean, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated, with charming details and stylish furniture. Martina clearly puts a lot of care into maintaining the space and is a proactive, responsive host.
That said, the apartment is noticeably smaller than it appears in the photos. The living room, kitchen, and dining area all together - and tiny. Staying here with two young children (ages 7 and 3) was therefore a bit of a challenge - especially during breakfast time. I was also bothered by a persistent smell of cigarette smoke in the stairwell, though the apartment itself is completely smoke-proof.
All in all, I’d definitely recommend Martina’s place and would happily stay again—just with a smaller crowd :)
